665 new cases and 9 death reported today

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health declared on Monday recording 665 new coronavirus infection cases in past 24 hours, raising toll of contamination cases to 21,967 since outbreak of the contagion in the Gulf state.

The ministry also reported 9 new deaths from the virus increasing total number of fatalities resulting from the contagious disease to 165.

This includes 195 Indians, 148 Kuwaiti Citizens, 96 Egyptians and 73 Bangladeshi residents.

Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh residential area reported 62 cases, Hawalli 44, Farwaniya 43 and Khaitan reported 37 cases.

Earlier, the Health Ministry announced the recovery of 504 people from the coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total recovery to 6621.
