YMCA Kuwait conducted its 8th Ecumenical Quiz competitions at The Light House Church (TLC) in the NECK compound. Twelve teams from various Churches/ Congregations participated in the competitions. The portion for the competitions was selected from the book of The Acts of the Apostles and Book of Hebrew. from the Bible. The Convener for the event was Dr. Sunny Andrews. The Quiz Mistress was Ms. Susan Andrews, who is a winner of the Bible Quiz conducted by Campus Crusade for Christ in 2009. The event was supported by a technical team headed by Joji B John and Sam John done with excellent planning.

The event started with opening prayer by Pastor Titus Varghese. Mr. Manoj Parimanam, General Secretary of YMCA Kuwait welcomed the team and the gathering followed by the Presidential address by CA. Mathew Varkey. The Quiz was officially inaugurated Fr. Dr. Biju Parackal, Asst. Vicar of the Indian Orthodox Church. The following teams won the ever rolling trophies sponsored by three individuals. 1st Prize : Church of God, Kuwait, 2nd Prize : IPC Ahamadi, 3rd Prize : St. Gregarious Indian Orthodox Church ( Maha Edavaka ), Kuwait. All the 12 participants were given special medals as well as Certificates as a token of their participation. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Mathews Mammen, Vice President of YMCA Kuwait. The event ended with closing prayer by Pastor V T Abraham.
