
The conference was inaugurated by KIG President Shareef P.T. In his inaugural speech, Shareef PT said that the healthy existence of human society depends on the family system and the propagators of neo-liberal ideas are making a conscious effort to destroy it.
IWA President Mahbooba Anees presided over the meeting. The president reminded the audience to be aware of the neo-liberal culture, which leads to the destruction of the family and morals, undermines the cultural foundations, and to not lean towards them, and gain the moral strength to overcome temptations.
JIH Women's Wing State Committee Member CV Jameela Teacher, MSF Former National Vice President Advocate Fatima Tahlia, Social Worker and Writer Dr. Zoya Joseph delivered lectures at the conference. Motivational speaker and social activist Fatima Sabarimala spoke on the online platform.
Jameela teacher reminded that ideas like liberalism which rejects divine laws that advocates for the family structure are a threat to peaceful family life and discussion of such issues in homes can create a clear awareness in children about these wrong ideologies and guide them to the right path.
Dr. Zoya Joseph, who is also a college professor, pointed out that the anarchy and drug mafia taking over the colleges is another facet of liberalism and liberalism has some political dimensions beyond morality.
The speaker, Fatima Tahlia, said that liberalism, which rejects religions and values, is as dangerous as fascism, and those who advocate for unlimited personal freedom are narrow-minded people who encroach on the personal freedom of others.
The theme song of the conference was performed by Jubeena Sanoj, Aisha Shamna, Simi Akbar, Tasneem Ali Akbar, Femina Ashraf, Najia, and Nishida, and a musical performance was performed by girls wing team Hana Nishad, Ifah Aftab, Ilham Mehek Shahid, Hana Sharif, Zulfa Maryam Anees, Suha Fatima, Anisul Atufa and Hamna Ayesha.
A kid's zone was organized for the entertainment of the children at the event.
Nawal Farheen and Afsilah Shahid Presented verses from the Holy Qur'an. IWA General Secretary and Program Convener Asha Doulath welcomed the audience and Secretary Sufia Sajid proposed the vote of thanks.
Nishad Elayath Edava, the director of the Sangeetha Shilpam and the Huda Abdullah, winner of the Logo design competition were honored at the event.
