All Praise and thanks are due to Allah, Tamil Nadu Muslim Association (TMA), a subsidiary of Indian Muslim Association (IMA)- Kuwait has conducted “Marhaban Ya Ramadan” Welcome Ramadan in Awqaf Auditorium, Riggae on 16th March 2023 for the Tamil speaking diaspora living in Kuwait.
The Essence of Ramadan is Quran and thereby program started with a beautiful recitation and explanation of the Holy Quranic verses by Br. Mohammed Azharuddin, followed by Welcome address by Br. Moideen with an introduction and works carried out by TMA in Kuwait.
A presidential speech has been delivered by Janab Shamvil Pervez, President of IMA highlighting the objective of welcome Ramadan and the message of Ramadan.
The program has progressed with a beautiful skit demonstrated by our children’s team regarding the Manners and etiquettes to be followed in Ramadan organized by ladies’ wing of TMA.
Soon after the skit program, A “Distinguished personality of Tamil community” award has been presented to Br. Ameer Ahamed Ex. President of JMC Alumni Association
Then the main theme of the program Welcome Ramadan has been addressed by Br. Abdul Wahab, President of TMA. He highlighted that fasting in Ramadan is not just a custom ritual, but it is a means of attaining God consciousness, righteousness in oneself and in establishing a God Conscious society.
As a final activity of the program, Br. Mohamed Faiyaz, TMA vice president Introduced an Emaan Tracker app with a personalized Ramadan tracker for the audiences to utilize it to fill their daily activities in Ramadan as a checklist to review their reports and records as a introspection to check and improve their performance in the Blessed month of Ramadan. Finally a vote of thanks conveyed by Br. Shahul Hameed thanking the participants and the coordinators of the program and a special appreciation and thanks to Al Faysal Bakery & Sweets for sponsoring the Snack box.
The program has ended with a full of positive energy to Welcome Ramadan with more than 300 Attendees. Br. Mohammed Javeed has done a wonderful Master of Ceremony and by engaging the Audiences by conducting quiz in different part of the program and gifts has been given to those answered correctly.
