You can eat dates as snack while having a break from work. There are many types of dates known with different names Ajwa Dates (known as prophet preferred date and it is mentioned in the holy Quran too. It is also known as the king of the dates.) Metjool Dates (suitable for diabetes patients and they are known as queen of the dates) Mabroom Dates, Barhi Dates, Amber Dates (it is a date from the holy land of Madina), Zahidi Dates, Sukkari Dates, Anbara Dates, Deglet Noor Dates. Eating seven Ajwa Dates a day protects us from black magic or from poison if eaten on regular basis islamically Muslims believed this because our prophet said this and this is mentioned in the Quran too.

“Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "He who eats seven 'Ajwa dates every morning, will not be affected by poison or magic on the day he eats them."

My grandmother’s family mashallah always have dates in a special way. They wash the dates and fry them with a teaspoon of butter/ghee and it turns really tasty and yummy too even we started having the same way, everyone have their different recipes of eating dates, sometimes we even drink milk with dates syrup and it is very healthy for our bones too. I would suggest everyone to have dates every day.

“A family who has dates will not suffer starvation”
