Tamilnadu Engineers Forum, Kuwait (TEF), one of the leading Professional organization in Kuwait is the one & only ISO 9001:2015 certified Non-Profitable Engineering organization in Kuwait formed by the alumni Engineers of Tamilnadu, India, with a membership of around 500 Engineers residing in Kuwait and registered with the Embassy of India, Kuwait, conducted the 1st Technical Seminar of the year on 29th January 2023 @ Mughal Mahal Restaurant, Fahaheel, Kuwait TEF, in line with its objectives for continual enhancement of Technical knowledge & skills of the TEF members. Technical seminar was presented by M/s STELMEC, INDIA with the support and sponsor of local partner M/s Golden Palm Petroleum Services Co. W.L.L., and the TEF members were actively participated in the session.

As usual TEF, as a platform, provides an excellent opportunity for the reputed international companies / institution to share their expertise exclusively for the benefit of TEF members. The event started @ 6.30 PM with Tamil Thai Vazhthu, followed by Safety moment and recitation of Kural (Sacred Verses) from the sacred Book of Tamils “Thirukkural”.
TEF-2023 Committee Member Mr. Mohanraj welcomed the TEFians & Guests Speakers to the Technical seminar on “Modernization the Power Distribution Network – The Intelligent Grid”. Engr. Mohanraj also briefed the gathering on forthcoming TEF flagship event of 14th Technological Innovation Conference & Exposition (TICE), which is scheduled on 9th November 2023.
Engr. Saravanan introduced STELMEC company and briefed the highlights of their Operations to TEFians.

In continuation, Engr. Mohanraj, introduced the Speakers from M/s Stelmec Mr. Abhishek Chanda, Dr. Cosmin Bucar Mircea, Mr. Mihir Ganguly, Mr. Senthil. In the technical sessions, all the speakers shared their experience on the topic “Modernization of Low, Medium Voltage Network - Circuit breakers and SCADA”. The session was interesting to the audience and the Q&A session was highly interactive and useful to all the participants.
As a token of appreciation, Event Speakers Dr. Cosmin, Mr. Mihir Ganguly, Mr. Senthil were felicitated by the TEF veteran leaders Mr. Rajan, Mr. Bala Elamaran & Mr. A.N. Natarajan.
After the technical session, TEF 2023 committee launched an inhouse initiative as a small segment “Tech bytes 2023” for the first time in the 1st Technical seminar 2023. Endeavor to introduce “Tech bytes 2023” is also committed in all TEF programs such as Technical Seminar and other TEF gatherings to share and create awareness on the emerging trends and fresh perspectives in the technical development & its influences on human life. Creativity in developing Video presentation using script material generated using latest AI tools / software programs was screened to the audience as first “Tech Bytes 2023” and narrated the simplified efforts and shared their increased convenience and ease of use.
Engr. Kasinathan Napa shared the vote of Thanks and expressed the gratitude to Speakers, Sponsors & all the participants for the successful completion of the 1st Technical seminar. More than 175 Engineers attended the event and concluded with the dinner and networking.
Anchoring was done by Engr. Mohanraj, Engr. Saravanan & Engr. Kasinathan Napa and the program came to an end with a Delicious Dinner. All the TEF committee members were supporting behind the screen for making this event a grand success.
