ICSK Staff Utsav 2022

“Anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you.”

24th November 2022 was a big day for the staff of The Indian Community School of Kuwait (ICSK) and The Indian School of Excellence Kuwait (ISEK), as they attended the first-ever STAFF UTSAV 2022.The event took place at The Innova International English School in Mahboula, which belongs to the the same management. Over 600 staff from all four branches of ICSK and ISEK attended the grand event, which was organized by the schools’ Board of Trustees, as an expression of gratitude to their staff.

Staff Utsav 2022 commenced with a welcome speech by the Honorary Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Shaikh Abdul Rahiman. In his speech, he thanked the entire staff for their hard work and dedication towards the respective schools, as well as appreciated the support of the other board members. Along with the Chairman, the Honorary Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Vinukumar Nair and the Honorary Secretary of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Azharuddin Amer Mohammed and Honorary Treasurer to the Board of Trustees Mr. S. Raju also graced the occasion.

The event was hosted by RJ Rachana, who kept the entertainment quotient high all throughout. Staff from all five schools showcased their talents in a variety of cultural programs all through the event. The programs consisted of foot-tapping dances, melodious songs sung by the staff, spectacular fashion shows, comedy skit and individual talent displays, followed by a lavish lunch, which included Continental Cuisine catering to Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian food. The ICSK and ISEK fraternity put their best foot forward, and their performances will be remembered for years to come.

The phenomenal Principals of all five schools - Dr. V. Binumon (Principal and Senior Administrator of ICSK Senior), Mr. Rajesh Nair (Principal of ICSK Amman), Mr. K. Gangadhar Shirsath (Principal of ICSK Khaitan), Mrs. Sheeja Ravi (Principal of ICSK Junior) and Mrs. Sherly Dennis (Director of The Indian School of Excellence), along with the wonderful Vice-Principals, showcased their support by participating in the cultural programs and by presenting gifts to the staff. Mr. Horace Vernall the Principal of Innova International English School where the Staff Utsav 2022 was conducted also supported the event with his presence.

Staff Utsav 2022 consisted of many fun elements, not only in terms of breathtaking performances, but also in the form of Spot Prizes and Tambola. The winners of Spot Prizes and Tambola received gift vouchers as prizes. Another surprise highlight of the day was the Mega Raffle Draw, where the winners received smartwatches, Samsung Tablets and a Samsung Galaxy smartphone as prizes.

The program ended with a Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Minali Bajaj-Syed, Staff Utsav 2022 Coordinator from ISEK, who thanked everyone present on behalf of the entire ICSK and ISEK fraternity. She thanked all the Board Members, Principals and Vice-Principals for their never-ending support. She also mentioned a deep sense of appreciation and gratitude to all the Performers, Volunteers and Staff Utsav 2022 Coordinators for their time and dedication, without whom this event would have never been possible. Principal of Innova International English School, Mr. Horace Vernall and his team were also thanked for providing their school space and support towards the event.

Along with a heart full of fun, happiness and memories to cherish, each staff member received a keepsake to remind them of this wonderful day - Staff Utsav 2022.
