Kuwait Catholic Congress- KCC, is an organization Syro-Malabar community residing in the state of Kuwait conducted its annual family picnic at the Kabed on weekend .
The picnic was inaugurated by the KCC President Mr. Anto K Mathew Kumbilumoottil. Picnic Committee convenor Mr. Sunil PC welcomed the members and their families.
By tradition, the Catholic Church dedicates each month of the year to certain devotion. The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary, one of the best known of all Catholic devotions. October includes the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary and it is celebrated there and it is led by the cultural committee convenor Mr. Binoy Varghese.
Various fun filled activities for all age groups added beauty to this two days Picnic.
Two days of fun and frolic, days to mingle and interact, days for fellowship and a blessing to all who came and participated.
Two days commenced with games for the tiny tots, and gradually moved on to the senior kids. Under the leadership of Mr. Benny Puthen , many games were organized for kids of all ages.
Not just the children, in fact, the programs covered a variety of games for the gents and ladies alike.
One of the major attractions of the picnic was the Tug of war, with the majority of crowd joining to buck up the spirits of the participants.
These wonderful days blessed with a very pleasant weather concluded with a group photo session and finally the grand prize distribution for all the winners. The prize distribution was led by Mr. Aju Thmas . At various time, food was arranged and distributed by the social committee convenor Mr. jaison Pereppadan and Accommodation coordinated by Mr. Anoop. The subcommittee members coordinated the picnic and the various activities associated with it . Mr. Shins Kurian, Mr. Shaji Joseph, Mr. Soyous Tom, Mr. Binoj were headed other subcommittees. Mr. Paul Chacko , treasurer expressed the vote of thanks. Mr. Babu Valiayveedan concluded the day with a prayer .
