New Indian school celebrated joyous Children’s Day on 14th November, Monday. The school hours were divided into fun programme and activities to keep the students engaged throughout.
The programme was held in school’s auditorium which was decorated by the art teacher of the school. The programme started with Quran recitation followed by the school prayer and Kuwait National Anthem. Students were briefed about the significance behind the children’s day. The students were entertained with various songs and dances performed by the teachers. The students were also shown a very informative movie. Before the end of the programme, certificates were presented to students by the principal and vice-principal to the winners of “NISOTSAV”. The programme ended with Indian National Anthem.
After the programme, the students were divided according to their “Houses” and sport activities were arranged like lemon and spoon, balance the book, river and bank and hurdle race. Along with this, games like throw ball and basket ball were played between the students and teachers.
All the staff members co-ordinated well to keep the smooth functioning of the day. Students left the school with happy faces and pleasant memories which will be cherished forever.
