A very warm welcome for the Kuwait National Team last night at the Kuwait International Airport as the warriors have come back with a bilateral series winning trophy against Bahrain (4-1) and also winning 2 out of the 3 Asia Cup Qualifiers matches against the mighty UAE 🇦🇪 and a higher ranked Singapore

The Kuwait National Team delegation was headed by Team Manager Mahmoud Abdullah, National Head Coach Muthumudalige Pushpakumara and the captain Mohammad Aslam who led the team with grit & determination throughout the tour in Muscat

Director General Sajid Ashraf who received the delegation along with the KCC officials (Rishi Jayan, Robert Dsouza, Tahir Khan & Qais Parkar) at the airport congratulated each and every single player and member of the delegation for a memorable & historic tour and said “one of the finest performances by the Kuwait National Team on an away tour winning as many as 6 out of the total 8 T20I’s played helping Kuwait jump the ranks to 24th in ICC T20I global rankings.the team management and coaching was excellent and very special as it was evident in the way boys bonded and fought for the team on any given opportunity in any given game.

Kuwait Cricket is very much on the rise on all fronts and the KCC Board will continue to organize & play more bilaterals and triangulars with higher ranked teams and the the objective is set……to get into the top 20 rankings of ICC T20I’s….”
