Covered with emotions are we,

Jealousy, Anger, frustration and desperation itch your skin.

Love, kindness, joy and faithfulness tickle your cheeks!

Capricious are we,

Intriguing and intimidating are they,

But whom do they press these to?

A shell!

A shell whose history is unknown!

A mystery is it

But what is the history that mystifies it?

Covered with pure blood,

We are born fresh,

A pure soul christened by God!

Flowing with cohesion,

Walking through rainbows,

it all flows until a layer of grimace laces us!

Adding spices of pessimism,

different labels have been thrust upon us!

Destroying and decomposing our flesh,

they have floated our souls for a vacation.

It just takes a few seconds until we return,

not empty but with a straight marathon ahead.

Washing the shore,

grooving around the shell,

each of them still holds a soul!

A soul whose history is their mystery!

Creating different designs,

Depicting its sufferings as the carvings,

Creating passage tunnels for its arrival,

they mould themselves into an intricate beauty!

After all, Their hard external structure is their new testimony!

Being a symbol of persistence, strength and beauty,

it still pokes our legs and entertains our eyes!

Self-confidence and optimism are the new attributes which it has built!

The attributes which no flesh can destroy!

SHELLS are a Reference to the ENDURANCE, SELF-CONFIDENCE and ATTITUDE OF THE SOULS.
