Investiture ceremony signifies the trust and faith that the school assigns in the newly invested student council and this occasion was witnessed in ICSK Junior on Tuesday, 17th May 2022.
The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Charles Moras – an Education Consultant and Trainer for teachers, students and parents. He serves as a Principal of Lokpriya Providentia International school, Jamnagar - Gujarat.
To grace the occasion, a beautiful ceremony was planned by the students of classes 5 & 6. The cultural programme of an invigorating song by the vocalists resonated on the whole zoom platform. A spellbinding semi classical dance was presented by the talented young performers with full zest and zeal. Glimpses were shared of all the minor and major efforts taken up by the principal, staff and students to reach up to the finale.
Principal, Mrs. Sherly Dennis welcomed the chief guest and gave a clear idea process and importance of having election at school level. After the oath taking, she congratulated the student council and urged all to be devoted leaders so that in the years to come they can feel proud of themselves.
The Chief Guest, in his address appreciated the efforts by the school for providing opportunities to the students to take part in activities like these. He congratulated the newly appointed student council for their preparedness to take up responsibilities. He interacted with the senate members individually and shared his school days experiences. His words of advice were highly motivating and inspiring to the students.
Vice Principal Mrs. C. Sheeja, thanked the ICSK team for their cooperation in all possible ways and wished good luck to the members of the student council.
The portfolios of the elected student leaders were displayed along with their photographs. It was a proud moment for all the parents to witness their children being invested as they embarked on a new journey, as leaders. The event concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the president of the student Council followed by the Indian National Anthem.
