Bhavans Smart Indian School Kuwait Celebrates National Youth Day

“Take up one idea, make that one idea your life. Think of it, dream of it, Live on that idea let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success.”

Swami Vivekananda's 159th Birth Anniversary and National Youth Day Celebration were aptly organized at Bhavans Smart Indian School Kuwait.

Swami Vivekananda's Birthday has been celebrated by the nation as National Youth Day since 1984 to inculcate and inspire the life and values of Swami Vivekananda in the Indian youth.

Principal Mahesh Iyer delivered the Youth Day message. "Young people are the wealth and driving force of any nation. He called on the youngsters, as the future leaders, to obligate themselves to the enhancement of the nation and society”.

The English Department organized the celebrations of the day. A documentary was screened and a symposium ‘on the life and message of Swami Vivekananda’ was also organized. A poster writing competition was conducted for the students in connection with the motto of "Uthishtata Jagratha":- “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached.”

Online students participated in the classes using a virtual background containing the message of Swami Vivekananda.

English teachers Mridula Vipin and Arlene James led the program.
