As part of the ongoing celebrations of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communication, along with the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, India, organized '75 Lakh Post Card Campaign', from December 1 to December, 20, 2021. All the schools affiliated to CBSE as well as Indian State Boards could participate in the Campaign. Joining the national campaign, Bhavans Indian Education School, Kuwait, conducted the activity for the students of grades 4 to 12 under the aegis of the Department of English in collaboration with the Department of Social studies.

The students had to write a postcard on any of the two topics - “Unsung Heroes of Freedom Struggle” and “My vision for India in 2047”. The teachers of Social Science, during their periods, enlightened the students about the topics and during the English periods, with the guidelines from the teachers of English, the postcards were prepared by the students, following the standard format, style and language. 294 Bhavanites participated in the activity. The best 10 postcards were selected by the teachers of English, and the same were uploaded on the CBSE Website. About 500-1000 postcards projecting amazing ideas will be displayed during the exhibition organized on this occasion by the department of Posts, Ministry of Communications.

Bhavans IES, being the flagbearer of Indian ethos in Kuwait, it was indeed an immensely proud moment to celebrate ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’, joining hands with the government of India
