After much planning, coordination and anticipation, it’s finally here! This weekend is going to have Kuwait’s football fanatics abuzz participating, attending and supporting the community’s biggest football event of the year – Community League Season 2!
‘Friends-Family-Football’ is more than just our slogan, it embraces our whole philosophy, where their passion for the sport brings people together and knits the fabric of the community around shared interests and activity.
After a panic-stricken year with more than it’s share of pandemic-related stress, Community League has pledged to end the year – and essentially begin the new one – on a good foot!
Starting 7 pm, on Friday, 19th November, the first round of matches will take place at Salmiya’s Boulevard Football Grounds. With 11 teams each consisting of 12 players from across communities in Kuwait, the Community League is pleased to invite family, friends and fans to come be a part of the fun. Running through January 2022, every Friday teams will compete in a league format until one is crowned champion!
So make sure to get there early and save yourself a spot to get in on the action and cheer on your favorites.
