FAIPS Marks National Unity Day With Fervour

On the occasion of the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Divas’, the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel, the grade 6 students of the Fahaheel Al Wataniya Indian Private school showcased the run for unity in an assembly held virtually on October 30, 2021.

The Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli extolled Sardar Patel’s remarkable achievements and contributions to the nation. He also urged the students to follow the principles of Patel to achieve goals. “It was his efforts that unified India after independence”, he added.

The students presented the life history and achievements of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in a dialogue. The non-violent struggles, his association with Mahatma Gandhi, his freedom movements, his laborious hard work in unifying India and incorporating them into the federal structure after August 15, 1947 were discussed. He worked shoulder to shoulder with Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru as a deputy Prime Minister and later as Home Minister of India. Who also instrumental in the making of the constitution of India.

They also highlighted his contributions in formulating the civil services in India. He was indeed a multifaceted personality. The pictures that depicted his life story and the sound of the train amidst the presentation were blended to signify his journey in the integration of India.

Abdur Rahman Adnan recited the Holy Quran and Syed Mujteba translated the verse. Ms. Vinita Munshi, the Vice-Principal led the school prayer while Ms. Deepa Rajesh, the Senior Mistress proposed a vote of thanks.
