The United Nations Organization, the beacon of hope, peace and international cooperation is the most positive and inspirational symbol to the world. In a customary effort to acknowledge the founding of the UNO in 1945, FAIPS (DPS) conducted a special assembly on October 24 to celebrate the United Nations Day.

The assembly held virtually on Zoom platform was an ensemble of various elements- most impressive being the reenactment of the historical events that preceded and succeeded the formation of the United Nations Organization. A skit was also performed to highlight how students, through MUN, get an opportunity to refine their speaking skills, practice diplomacy and debate to make a difference. The presence of Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, Vice-Principal, Mrs.Vineeta Munshi, Head Mistress, Ms. Harvinder Anand, teachers and student community of grade 11 manifested great zest to the event.

The assembly drew to a close with an awe-inspiring speech by the Principal with a rationale to hone the qualities of leadership and draw inspiration from great diplomats of the yesteryears for a better world.
