Diwali is around the corner and the various events being organized all over the world show that the illustrious Indian festival has evolved into such a big Global phenomenon that its name does not require much explanation.

The festival, which celebrates the victory of good over evil, is associated with fireworks, sumptuous feasts, new clothes and bright lights in India and Non-resident Indians have managed to include most of these elements in their celebrations as well.

It is celebrated for five days as Balipratipada, Narak Chaturdashi, Padua, Laxmi Pujan, and Bhaibees. Everyone buys new clothes and light sparking crackers. Everyone exchange sweets and gifts. Girls and women draw Rangoli on their doorstep. In short Diwali is the festival which brings closer to everyone and teaches us to spread light of peace, unity and joy in our lives.

Away from our motherland the ethnic Diwali gifts will enhance our festive spirit and help us celebrate the occasion with great fun and fervor. Diwali celebrated by NRI is amazing and bringing the India in Gulf and enjoying it with happiness and bringing the people together on this auspicious day.

On this day we as Indian come together in our colony in Mangaf block-4 and all the people around us enjoy it by wishing each other Happy Diwali and the kids from all around our society enjoy bursting crackers with safety and joy. The Indian embassy in Kuwait celebrates Diwali by distributes sweets to all who comes to embassy for various services. We all Indian as well as non-Indian celebrate this day together with lots of love and togetherness far from India but bringing Indian together .

We all celebrate it with lot of joy, happiness, excitement for children as well as elders bringing our homes in gulf. We also wish each other by wishing them happy Diwali.
