The Dark Night

The Dark Night

It was 11 o’clock at night, and when I realized that he hadn’t come home, I was worried about him a lot! I even called him, seeking him to answer any of my calls, but all my efforts wore in vain. It was very dark at night and I couldn’t see anything, but I was determined to find him as it was getting very late. Even though I was a little afraid of ghosts, I stepped out of the house with courage to search for him and find him before it’s too late.

The night was cold and my body was shivering because of fear and cold. “I should have taken my sweater,” I said to myself, “the night is cold and I can’t stay out late.” So, I returned home hoping that he would have come home by now, but there was no sign of him anywhere. I became more worried about finding him under any condition. But when I realised that everything was going against my expectations about finding him, I decided to call the Police asked them to begin their search immediately, but they said that they didn’t have enough information about the missing person, so I gave all the required information about him and asked the police officers to begin their search immediately. Later, on my way home, I noticed one of his shoes left out near the park and his footsteps leading to a secret and abandoned tunnel in our locality. As I drew closer, I saw three men who were looking like kidnappers holding sticks in their hands and guarding the place. Without wasting much time, I smartly threw a stone on the other side of the park and distracted them from that place. Without taking the help of the police, I quickly rushed into the tunnel and found him tied up inside the tunnel. I immediately gave a call to the police and hung it up, so that they could track my phone’s location and help me and rescue him from the hands of the kidnappers. As I was untying him to rescue into him from the tunnel, the kidnappers saw me and ware alarmed.

They started beating me with sticks and later, I saw myself trapped with him. But as they wore beating me, I heard the Police siren and I knew that I had successfully rescued him and the others, and the police caught the kidnappers no time. Later, I was awarded by the Police for my braveness.

Moral of the story: Don’t be afraid of your fears. They are there to let you know that something is worth it.
