Since high school, I was in a dilemma on which subject combinations to take. My parents wanted to keep all options open and asked me to take Bio Maths.But they took me for a career assessment where I came to know about my strength and weaknesses. I took commerce and I love my subjects. Thus I have definitely passed the first crossroad in my life.

What is a Cross road? According to the Dictionary, Oxford languages, “Crossroad is a point in which we have to make a crucial decision in our life, which will have far reaching consequences”. It will be the point in our life when we find ourselves confused; frightened. We will be worried that we might be taking the wrong path. I believe we should ask ourselves a few questions before taking a decision because repeatedly we will again be standing in crossroads in our life.

1) What is really important to us?

In the battle of head and heart, we should be truthful to ourself.we shouldn’t take decisions to please others. As long as we don’t hurt anyone by our decisions we will be just fine. Never be a people pleaser.

2) Will the road we take help us grow?

We should come out of our comfort zone. We will have to trend on paths which might not be familiar to us. But it will help us grow as a person.

3) What does your instinct tell you?

Instinct is considered as the highest form of intelligence. We should ask our self, Are you happy? Or Are you feeling miserable? If we feel, we will never be happy in situation or a place, just drop it.There is nothing more important than our peace of mind. Get help from people who will tell you the truth, people who love you, who care for you, who are your all time well-wishers…your Parents, Grandparents or your Best friends
