Indian Central School welcomes new principal Mrs. Sujata Sivakrishnan

A particularly noteworthy observation is the empirical link between school leadership and improved student achievement. As part of its continuous improvement on school leadership reform, Dar Al Salam (DAS) Group of Schools were pleased to introduce Mrs. Sujata Sivakrishnan as the newly appointed principal of Indian Central School in a special ceremony held virtually on Saturday 2nd October, 2021.

The event was organized by the Community Engagement Executive for DAS Schools, Ms. Stephanie Mathew, supported by staff and students of Indian Central School. The event was hosted by Ms. Andrea Beji, student of grade 12, along with her cohost Ms. Sara Parkar of grade 8 who presented the Glory of ICS. The ceremony commenced with a beautiful rendition as an invocation performed by the ICS choir comprising of students from the Middle Wing.

Honorable Chairman of DAS Schools, Mr. K. O. Mathew and Vice Chairman, Mr. Ahmed Al Falah congratulate Mrs. Sujata on her appointment and support her as she takes on the challenges that lie ahead in the coming years. The event also showcased the curtain raiser of DAS Digest Volume 1.4, the quarterly interschool digital newsletter, that serves the objective of providing a tangible demonstration of DAS schools’ values through various articles and featured content. The newsletter will be made available on the school’s website under the community engagement column.
