Hydrogen Fuelled Car: A Boon for Nature and Mankind

Do you see how global warming takes place? Probably… you may say ‘yes’. Because of the inconvenient rain, extreme temperature during the day and many other factors, the nature is getting harmed. Animals, plants and other forms of life are not safe. Tranquillity has lost its way and seems to be found nowhere. Imagine yourself standing in a deep forest covered with a high stream from which water falls. The water would be clear with numerous fishes. How delighted you will be! This scene in today`s world is nowhere to be seen around.

How to get rid of these effects? What should we do? How much time it will last? These question might be pondering in your mind whose answers are essential.

Let’s know what more about it.

These effects are likely to last longer because the exact time when it will be over is not justified yet. Apart from COVID-19, Global Warming, Pollution, Floods, Landslides and various other calamities are also the gift given by us to ourselves.

As the population rises, the rapid requirement for urbanization will increase drastically. This will lead to deforestation. Nature will be affected the most. Her beauty will morph into minute spots of dark smokes. The tress, will turn blackish-brown. No photosynthesis will take place because of high concentration of pollution.

What are the ways to save her?

The most essential thing which we need to do is to reduce pollution. This will remove the dark spots from her and then, she will become evergreen, cheerful and cherished. For it, we need to replace our old fossil fuel run car into electrical car. Why? It is because fossil fuels such as petrol, diesel and kerosene gets used up readily and cause various skin problems and respiratory problems such as Asthma, Bronchitis and Skin Cancer which not only causes problem to plants and animals but also human beings. Dark spots in the environment are also made by them. We can use ELECTRIC CARS as they are eco friendly. Some electric cars Fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) are powered by hydrogen because hydrogen gas is the most abundant element on earth.

Hydrogen Fuelled car will also help in saving her from these unwanted circumstances and tragedies like Global Warming and Pollution, which she have never witnessed before. Some of the electric cars are also powered by Hydrogen Gas as the Fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) are powered by hydrogen.

1)They are more efficient than conventional internal combustion engine vehicles and produce no tailpipe emissions—they only emit water vapour and warm air.

2)FCEVs and the hydrogen infrastructure to fuel them are in the early stages of implementation.

3)At present, the U.S. Department of Energy does numerous research efforts to make hydrogen-powered vehicles an affordable, environmentally friendly, and safe transportation option.

4)Hydrogen is considered an alternative fuel under the Energy Policy Act of 1992 and qualifies for alternative fuel vehicle tax credits.

5)Fuel cell cars are very similar to traditional gasoline powered cars. They are quite similar to today’s gasoline vehicles, fuel cell electric cars can have a driving range of more than 300 miles on one tank of hydrogen fuel.

6)They refuel in just a few minutes, and the fuelling experience is almost identical to a gas station.

Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle And Its Benefits

These cars are quite similar to Electric Cars, and they use a propulsion system where energy stored as hydrogen is converted to electricity by the fuel cell.

1)These vehicles produce no harmful tailpipe emissions.

2)Other benefits include increasing U.S. energy security and strengthening the economy.

3)They can fuel in less than 4 minutes and have a driving range over 300 miles. This features makes them unique from other cars and, that`s why, they are popular now-ad-days. In addition, they will soon be in trend.

4)FCEVs are equipped with other advanced technologies to increase efficiency, such as regenerative braking systems, which capture the energy lost during braking and store it in a battery. In case the hydrogen gas is over, the electrical batter will come into play.

5)Major automobile manufacturers are offering a limited but growing number of production FCEVs to the public in certain markets in sync with what the developing infrastructure can support.

Current Scenario of Hydrogen Car In India:

Less than four months after the United States Department of Energy announced an investment up to $100 million in hydrogen production and fuel cell technologies research and development, India has announced a National Hydrogen Mission. Presently, the use of hydrogen in vehicles in India has been limited to research, demonstrations, and test runs.

The Hydrogen Cars are likely to come on the Indian streets by 2028.

In a nutshell, while the fossil fuels such as petrol, diesels and kerosene are widely used to run vehicles, there will be an urgent need to change the type of fuel used in vehicles. Environmental pollution is the cause to change the type of fuel. The use of Electric Cars that run on Hydrogen will help in conserving the nature and its beauty. Hence, we should plant more trees and contribute a little to start conserving the environment. The way we save her, in the same way, she will ameliorate our problems and keep us safe forever!
