FAIPS-DPS Hasya Kavita Pratiyogita: Side Splitting Laughter Competition

To nurture a passion for humour in the student community, FAIPS (DPS), Kuwait organized an ‘Inter-House Hasya Kavita Pratiyogita’ on 6th September 2021. Students from six houses of classes 9th and 10th participated with utmost enthusiasm and exuberance and captured the humorous ambience created by the great poets of Hindi literature. It was very interesting to see them dressed up in vibrant colors portraying the ideas of their poems. This was an initiative conceived by the Hindi department of FAIPS (DPS).

After a hilarious competition, Meera Acharya representing Truth house bagged the 1st place followed by Angel Mani (Harmony house) at the 2nd place. The 3rd position was shared by Dhairya Bhandari and Mohammed Saquib from Hope and Faith houses respectively.

Mrs. Bharti Tiwari and Mrs. Rachna Singhal were the esteemed Judges on the occasion. Their gracious presence boosted the spirits of the students for their hard work and diligence. The Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, reiterated his faith in the new generation and hoped that they would keep up the spirit and humour conveyed through the poems. He also congratulated the winners and appreciated the teachers specially from the Hindi Department for their efforts and making the event a success.

The online fiesta was much enjoyed by the august audience.
