Smart Indian School celebrated virtual ‘Onam’

Smart Indian School celebrated virtual ‘Onam’ on 19th August 2021 with great pomp and dazzle. The greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals. A festival to cherish, a moment to reincarnate a past of prosperity and goodness. The day was magnificently marked by the Chairman of Bhavans Middle East - Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon, Principal- Mr. Mahesh Iyer, Vice Principal- Ms. Albin Daisy and KG Supervisor- Ms. Rajni Menon, with all teachers and students.

Festivals become a family when celebrated together, the celebration started at 10.30am with greater joy. Everybody was welcomed by our charming children Veda and Jasriya. The festivities included elegant performances in the form of music, dance, pookalam and art work done by teachers and students. Music is the strongest form of magic, with his voice Principal created festive ambience. Greeting all a very happy Onam, he reiterated that all the festivals portray a valuable message of brotherhood and unity. Festivals teach us to share joy with each other. Our KG Supervisor expressed her feelings and greetings with radiance. Air was filled with joy and zeal. One cannot visualize the delightful contribution of this glorious festival. Life becomes a festival when gaiety and culture blend. Onam delivers the message of both.

May the colours and joy of Onam fill our home and heart with happiness and prosperity. May we always enjoy a good fortune and the choicest bounty and nature.

Onashamsakal!
