600,000 dinars spend at shopping malls on first day after re-open

Heavy sales witnessed in shopping malls and commercial centres on the first day of the second stage of return to normalcy after around 110 days of closure.

According to the Automated Banking service company K-Net, the cash withdrawal through PoS devices on Tuesday rose to 25 million dinars, in which 600,000 were spent at Avenues Mall, 360, Al Kout, Marina and the Gate Mall, local media reported quoting K-Net CEO

The value of cash withdrawals at these five major malls in Kuwait through POS devices reached 600,000 Dinars on Tuesday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm compared to 60,000 Dinars spent on these malls last Monday.

These shoppers look to be mostly locals who came to shop with their God given wealth..while expats are begging here to leave jobless many nobody cares..lesson to be learnt is never come back where there is no stability as it ruins your life its better to do something even work for low salary in your country to stay alive as life is short remember among all .. Your LIFE is most impt not impt to be rich. Health is wealth Be happy in your own country.

On the other hand people with daily wages are forced to beg for money on the streets in Jaleeb and Mahboula due to more than 3 months locked down .

Recipe for disaster. It is not the money, but the crowd which matters. Just wait for it, in the coming days Kuwait will witness an explosion of cases. Many people are asymptomatic and cannot be identified just by the temperature scanners at the entrance.
