Bhavans SIS Wishes Happy 60th Kuwait National Day 2021

Having this been celebrated everywhere in Kuwait, Students of Bhavans Smart Indian School celebrated Kuwait's independence and liberation 2021 and marked the respect and gratitude to Kuwait’s love and care.

Arabic department headed by Mrs. Amira organized this glorious event virtually on Tuesday, 23 February 2021 during the school hours and students appeared thankfully and cheerfully to pay respect to the country. And the students were taken out of the regular MS Teams classes and led to the Zoom auditorium where the celebration took place. Emcee Jasim, a smart student from grade 9, began the event with a beautiful and interesting short history of Kuwait.

This festivity included Holy Quran verses, short gratitude speeches to Kuwait Nation by Mr. Mahesh Iyer, the principal, Mrs. Albin Daisy, vice-principal, Mrs. Shaima Zaki, manager at owners office, Mrs. Rajni Menon, KG supervisor, Arabic teachers, impressive display of dances and skits, and songs. Another beauty to this celebration was that students were dressed wearing shades of Kuwait flag colors as a part of the celebration.

The eminent leader Mr. Mahesh Iyer, the principal of Smart Indian School, had given a short concluding speech on Kuwait’s love for all and congratulated the teachers, students and parents for their wonderful participation in the celebration.
