Timbre Talkers Toastmasters Club, Kuwait organized a global event called “Women Achievers”

“A Woman is strong yet gentle, educated yet humble, fierce yet compassionate, passionate yet rational, disciplined yet free.” - KAVITA RAMADAS

As a tribute to the glory and achievements of women, Timbre Talkers Toastmasters Club, Kuwait had organized a global event called “Women Achievers”, under Division E, District 20 Banner.

  

We conducted this remarkable event in collaboration with District 102 and District 105 Toastmasters. International Director for Region 13, DTM Sudha Balajee was the Master of Ceremonies. The role players included Toastmasters from District 20, District 98, District 102 and District 105.

The Event intended at empowering women by sharing the thoughts of the great women achievers:

Dr. Kiran Bedi - Lt. Governor Puducherry (First Woman IPS Officer of India)

DTM Margaret Page - International President-Elect Toastmasters International (from British Columbia)

TM Sarah Khan - Advocate, Author, TEDX Speaker (from USA)

DTM Shanta Maria James - Managing Trustee and Educational Consultant, Kuwait

 

The attendees were over 100 including dignitaries like District 20 Director DTM Mohamed Saleem, Program Quality Director (PQD) DTM Alifiya Lakdawala, Club Growth Director (CGD) DTM Khalid Abdulla, Division E Director DTM Xavier Yesudas, Area 17 Director TM Prince George and many renowned toastmasters from around the world. This was our Club President DTM Annadatha Murali Manohar's DTM Project.

 

We are proud to have brought such amazing personalities under one platform that inspired all those in attendance with powerful messages and worthwhile lessons.

Timbre Talkers are thankful to their Vice President Public Relations TM Sana Fatima, TM Rashmi Raghav from District 105 (Malaysia) and TM Meghana Mehta from District 98 (Ahmedabad, Gujarat) for creative posters, certificates for the occasion. We are also thankful to TM Ajitha Sivam, as Moderator & TM Kalpana Arvind for being Timer of the event.
