KANA, Kuwait office-bearers call on Indian Ambassador

Office-bearers of Kerala Arts and Nataka Academy (KANA), Kuwait called on Indian Ambassador His Excellency Mr Sibi George on December 24, 2020.

The office-bearers briefed the Ambassador about the Academy’s various activities including the annual amateur theatre competition titled ‘Thoppil Bhasi Theatre Festival’ and the dramas it staged since its formation. The Ambassador appreciated KANA's activities and commended its contribution to theatre arts.

The Ambassador informed the visiting members that the Embassy has commenced an initiative to prepare a database of all Indian artists, indologists and indophiles in Kuwait. This Indian Cultural Network (ICN) will be part of the Embassy's diaspora outreach. The link for the registration is:
