The loudest animal in this world needs your voice. An anonymous quote felt in the hearts by all but not such that, that they come forward to hoard. People have presumably hunted animals but also living beings from ages. This neither is a trend nor a necessity yet followed by all. The question is…. Why?

The popularly used website, Wikipedia says, whales are a widely distributed and diverse group of fully aquatic placental marine mammals. Hauntingly, these gentle giants almost rule the sea. Going more deeper, still below the site, over a thousand whales are killed each year for their meat and body parts to be sold for commercial gain.

Currently, in many countries, the butchery of whales is expelled as there’s a life lost for the luxuries which humans are enjoying. However, a few countries alike Iceland, Norway, and Japan argue hunting and eating whales are part of its culture. Several coastal communities in Japan have indeed hunted whales for centuries but consumption only became widespread after World War Two when other food was scarce. Imagine being killed for someone’s else profit. Through social media, in advantage, their voices are being heard louder.

Even though there are a lot of whales bring hunted, nevertheless also mentioning that the fin whales have been victim to death from ages. The products obtained from the flesh of the fin whales are utterly used in the world and currently, estimation proves that only 100000 fin whales are alive to date.

The future for whales is threatened by countries' disregarding and working to lift the IWC's moratorium on commercial whale hunting, ocean pollution, habitat loss, and loud noise. For the next generation, I believe that humans will realize their wickedest faults, on the other hand the whales would live a passable life in the oceans.
