FAIPS students excel at Ayurveda Quiz

FAIPS (DPS) was in news once again when two of its students secured First positions in a quiz organized by the Embassy of India on the occasion of Ayurveda day celebrations on 13th November, 2020. Ayurveda is recognized as India’s gift to the world of medicine. Though it has its origin in antiquity, it has amazing relevance in modern times as a holistic healing system.

The Ayurveda Day is observed every year on the day of Dhanvantri Jayanti or Dhanteras. This year it was celebrated on November 13, 2020 with an aim to create a sense of awareness in today’s generation on the strengths of Ayurveda and its unique treatment principles. The potential role of Ayurveda in the management of the COVID-19 pandemic was the theme of the 5th Ayurveda Day celebration.

To mark the occasion, the Embassy of India in Kuwait organized a daily online quiz competition among school children. With participation of number of leading schools in Kuwait, FAIPS students Akshat Kumar of Grade 11 and Saloni Thakkar of Grade 7 deftly answered the quiz to secure top honours. The winners were felicitated by the Indian Embassy officials at the Embassy premises on the same day. The Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli extended his heartiest congratulations to the winners.

It was indeed a proud moment for the school and the award winners.
