The celebrations have been a trend at Bhavans, and SIS has never missed an occasion when it comes to celebrating with their loved ones. Diwali, the festival of lights, was celebrated at Bhavans on 12 November 2020 on a virtual platform.

Lights are a harbinger of joy and prosperity. The festival of lights brings happiness, harmony and togetherness all over. Diwali is a festival that helps everybody remember its roots and is celebrated well by everybody both young and old. The kindergarten kids also celebrated their day by watching a story which told them the importance of the festival and the reason behind celebrating the festival. The children came wearing their special dress and also discussed how they were going to make their day special this year. The description put forth about the savories brought mouthwatering and scrumptious experience to others listening to it. The KG-1 kids had made beautiful Diya on a paper and decorated it colorfully with collage making. The KG-2 kids made a paper folding Diya by carefully folding their colored papers and knitting into beautiful Diyas. The importance of overcoming good over bad was discussed by their teacher and finally the kids posed for a photo click with their colorful Diyas.

A huge round of applause to the management of Bhavans for helping us and giving us a thought to value our traditions, to respect and keep it going thus preserving our roots till the very end.
