Diwali Safety Measures While Bursting Crackers

Bursting crackers has become a habit during Diwali. Firecracker can become dangerous, if not handled properly. They can cause severe injuries. So, it is important to take some precautions while bursting crackers. People having asthma and breathing problems should stay inside the house while others are bursting crackers. Some non-branded and low quality crackers contain chemicals that lead to serious health issues.

Hence, it is important to buy good quality and branded crackers. Wear protective eye gears to prevent the entry of particles into the eyes and irritation by fumes. . Fire crackers are highly combustible therefore they must be stored in a cool and dry place. Accidents can take despite taking necessary precautions but we can minimize the impact by ensuring that we have proper means to handle it.

While bursting crackers keep a bucket of water and sand to dispose crackers easily. Clothes made of synthetic material catch fire easily. While bursting crackers wear clothes made of cotton, denim and khadi that don’t catch fire easily. Bursting crackers in a thickly populated area can lead to loss of life and property. Hence, burst crackers in an open area. Make sure you take all these precautions while bursting crackers.
