500 vehicle ownership transfer request in first 9 hours of launching the service

The Ministry of Interior received 500 transactions for transferring vehicle ownership within the first nine hours of launching this service on 'Sahel' app.

At present, this service is available for transferring the ownership of private cars and motorcycles. The company vehicles are not yet added to this service.

The Ministry of interior on Sunday launched the service of ownership transfer of vehicles via 'Sahel' app in which the seller and buyer can complete the transfer through the app without visiting the traffic department. The Director of the Technical Office Department in the Traffic Affairs and Operations Sector at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Adwani, said that these initiatives by the Ministry helps reduce the burden on visitors at the Ministry offices.
