This year, there will be 5 days holidays for Kuwait’s Independence Day and Liberation Day as it falls on Tuesday, February 25 and Wednesday, February 26 respectively. Thursday, February 27 will be considered as a holiday since it falls between a public holiday and the weekend, based on the Cabinet’s decision No. 4/1979 issued on July 22, 1979 concerning public holidays, and amendments to it through decision No. 252 concerning the transfer of some public holidays.
Based on these two decision, the National Days holidays will be from Tuesday, February 25 to Saturday, February 29, adding that official work will resume on March 1.
