4600 bottles of liquor confiscated at Shuwaikh port

Kuwait Customs officers thwarted an attempt to smuggle around 4608 bottles of imported liquor at Shuwaikh port.

The authorities at Shuwaikh Port suspected a container as soon as it arrived in the country from an Asian country. After checking, it is found that the liquor is hidden between the foodstuffs. Authorities found about 4608 bottles of liquor hidden inside 384 cartons.

No doubt Christmas is approaching. This happens every year but those caught nothing happens to them after all they know who are they and nobody have guts to ask who was consignor who brought inside. Happy and merry Christmas in advance. Cheers.
