As part of the continuous effort to arrest the residency violators, authorities arrested 309 residency violators, including 250 expired residence and 59 with absconding case, last week from 6th November to 12th November. During the period, authorities also arrested 71 drug and alcohol related cases and referred them to the General Administration for Narcotics Control.
Arrest were recorded from 256 checkpoints in the six governorates. Authorities also seized 80 vehicles for violations.
The sector confirmed that the security and traffic campaigns are continuing in all governorates to put an end to all forms of violations.
