Countries with comprehensive Alcohol Prohibition (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Iran, Kuwait, Libya, Mauritania, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Pakistan).

Name any of the above countries with an attractive tourism industry. Even Indonesia - with the largest Muslim population of 87%, does not enforce alcohol ban !!

There is no hope for Kuwait tourism unless alcohol ban is lifted.
I suggest a pilot program to allow consumption of beer and gradually move to hard liquor; based on a nationwide referendum similar to Brexit decision in UK.

Also, at least allow sale of alcohol in duty free shops.

Until then, tourism in Kuwait = seaside picnic, mall, garden & Entertainment City after renovation (whenever that may be).

Kuwait must understand to enhance entertainment tourism, this will also generate revenue to Kuwait''s economy, since there is nothing to do here, people are forced to travel out!

There should be one daily non-stop flight between Kuwait and Kolkata which will benefit a lot of passengers belonging to the eastern parts of India. In the absence of that those people have to travel via Dubai/Doha.
