The General Department of Drug Control in a country wide search, arrested 17 suspects of different nationalities involved in promoting alcoholic beverages in various places in the country.
The team seized approximately 1284 bottles of alcoholic beverages of various types and sizes, with an estimated market value of approximately 100,000 Kuwaiti dinars.
The accused and the seized items were referred to the Drugs and Alcohol Prosecution Office to take action. Necessary legal procedures will be taken against them.
