Anam Omer is a grade 6th student studying at Indian Community School, in Kuwait. She is an expressive speaker who participates in many school and inter-branch competitions such as the Arts Fest held in her school every year. She is an animal lover obsessed with cats and spends most of her time talking to her pet birds. Anam believes that when there is no struggle, there is no strength. She loves discovering the world, sometimes by travelling or by reading a collection of printed words on pages: books. She is also a bookaholic who finds it impossible to end her week without reading at least one book. Anam taught herself to read at the age of 2 years and loves to express her thoughts by writing.
IIK introduces a unique program “IIK Young Reporter” to encourage the writing skill for the young students from the community. Any student with a passion for creative writing and a little bit of interest in journalism and community activities can be a part of this program.
