A suggestion for Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan

posted by Jaishankar Ganesh on Wednesday, November 12, 2008

I am very glad that schools in kuwait are doing well especially Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Abassiya. But, one aspect which i feel is about the classes on Saturday and intermittent Parent Teachers meeting. I am a child specialist and I feel the efficiency of the child would diminish if adequate rest is not provided. When it is a 2 days holiday in all schools, y not IES encourage the same. Though it is a boarding school,I feel classes for Kindergarten and primary are not much required. I hope they are not writing any Competitive Examinations like IAS or IPS at this age.I have received many complaints from my friends in this regard. Nothing opposing the school but just to improvise their reputation since they are doing really well. Teachers meet the parent twice in a month which is very boring. Children should be given sometime at home too to study. Hope many would agree with me.
