Depends on ur endurance level.. If the pain doesnt recede with next 2 days, visit a doctor.. Try massaging with a hot water bag.. Do not sleep on that side of the shoulder in which u re feeling the pain !

Hi - It could be a muscle Spasm...try muscle relaxant tablets.. like SID said.. Visit a doctor after 2 days...Take Care...

@Vineet Singh - The pain u get when u join a gym is because of ur muscles getting contracted (after a long time).. that will eventually go in 3-4 days.. Make sure u dont lift heavy weights as soon as u joined.. start with lesser weights.. within a week, this pain will go..

Brother, really? you need people to come and tell you whether you should see a doctor? If your body hurts in such a way that you are unable to sleep then you should consult a doctor. Please don''t hesitate to see a doctor just to save 5 KD. It might be a minor issue however it is your body and you should take care of it the best way you can...Please don''t wait for the public to come and guide you..

Visit ortho emergency in your area clinic. They will take x ray and do appropriate treatment.
You can use ice pack over shoulder for 10-15 min so swelling and pain will be less. do 4-6 times a day. Try not to use the injured hand.

Really??!! Do u need ppl to advise you about the pain you are feeling? You must b having some basic understanding of your own body. Ppl can''t see thru or feel thru ur immature query. As far as the advice is concerned, get out from ur chair and see a doctor. No loss except few bucks, if u call that a loss.

Thank you for all your suggestions, It has healed Automatically (albeit with Hot Water Bag) without visiting a Doctor.

@A friend & Zameer: Its not always about money. My pain got healed automatically in 2 days and if I had gone to the doctor, still it would have taken this time but in that case I would have wasted my time and money and they would have given me tablets unnecessarily which we should avoid as much as possible. Anyways still thankful you came up with replies.

Rest Ice Compress Elevate. These are the common methods to treat an injury. also known as RICE. I think the first mode REST cured your injury.
