As you said, your KSE membership is renewed upto 2021, then why do we need to go to KSE again after passport renewal?
I am on the verge of KSE renewal & hope not to get any surprises.

@SN ... please see recent topics on kse via search.. you need to update with KSE on the membership if you change passport number...or NOC since that passport number is there on the noc letter.
@Eng... did you approach KSE for NOC ? and updating passport no ?.... why not go there and ask what the status means and if they will give interview date or again? and if you have to pay money again for interview in this case? Also how long did u get ur to get mc attested.. any agency ...and what is the college doc is is provisional cert? and where did u give to do att n cost...

I have heard such cases from others while visited KSE. KSE say that they don''t have the record of your interview and evaluation. Please visit KSE with the proof of your interview like payment receipt to clear the issue.

Yesterday I went to KSE for my membership renewal. Even after having my final year mark list attested, now they are asking for college certificate attestation. As my degree certificate and marks lists doesn''t have college name. It this happened to any one. Day by day there are changing requirements.

@fg, I went for passport renewal and apply NOC. At that time they asked for Marks card and college course completion to be attested and submitted that. Then I check online last week, they are saying transfer for interview. This week I will visit KSE to sort out this issue and will update accordingly.
If you have course completion certificate from college, you can attest the same, otherwise you can attest provisional degree certificate. But my suggestion ,take the college related certificate to KSE and show them. They will tell you which certificate to be attested, why I am telling this is, there is no specific rule for anything there.
You can contact urogulf for attestation, it wil take 15-22 days for completing attestation.
You can contact Mr. Rahul from urogulf for this (65982625).

KSE staff is saying that we can renew next year''s membership renewal any month. However I am having doubt, ie., If we delay, they may say that we need to redo all the application submission and documents.

Transfer Residence NOC
Hi All,
If we already are KSE member (membership valid till 2020) from Aug''18 and need only the NOC for transfer of visa from one company to another then will it be normal procedure or would have to go through what our fellow engineers are sharing. No need for passport number updating just NOC for transfer of residence. Pls share information for those who have done similar request with KSE.

Hi Engineer,
Actually this is not entirely a surprise after all. I guess you have not kept abreast of the update on the KSE requirements and thus the surprise.
Its been some time that KSE is asking the very things they have asked you, except the " transfer for interview" part
Fellow Indians who have taken the NOC way back when only degree attestation was required are being asked to submit the attestation of the arks list. this has come about approx. 5-6 months back. Now, if your college name does not appear either on the Degree certificate or the marks list you need to attest some certificate where your college name appears.
Also, any renewal of the passport, KSE asking for renewal of the membership card and NOC. Note card is valid till the time you take it but NOC is valid for only three months. This is only my guess that they are asking this, as NOC is somewhere linked to passport number also.
Now,
I think the transfer for interview is by mistake and it will likely be changed once you have the chance to explain it to them. as a first step you should go and meet the front desk of KSE.
Urogulf is taking almost 35-40 days for attestation now ( I gave mine on 31 Dec and got it on 6th Feb. they themselves are saying 25 working days)
It does not matter if you have already taken membership earlier based on degree certificate. they WILL ask for marksheet and college certificate, but as I know from my colleagues, re-interview was not necessary.
College certificate can be any certificate, transfer certificate or Bonafide/conduct certificate. in their absence any certificate showing your name and college name and year like some quiz competition certificate will do. the best thing in such case is to approach college now to get a letter and get it authorized.
Now my questions: I have submitted my certificates online on 9th Feb and got the docs verified on 9th Feb and they informed it will take one week time. no change in status and its almost 2 weeks. one guy in this forum, Rajiv, has informed me (us) that it took him almost 3-4 weeks for the change in status. my question is, I have been checking the front page that appears after login, where in the status is first doc submission. Now from your post it appears your status changed immediately???

I also got a similar surprise. I was having the KOC membership for the past 4 years which i was renewing every two years I have taken NOC also with that. Now i changed to a new company and to transfer my visa it was advised to submit the NOC.
When I approached KSE to get the NOC, they made me to come again and again for a couple of days saying that there is some issue. Then one finally one day they said that I need to write the exam again as I have failed. I asked them, you are the ones who issued the membership, the NOC for 4 years now you are saying that I didn''t pass. To which they responded that it is our mistake, however you need to appear for the interview again.
I have told this to my Mandoup on the new company and he told that he will check and see what can be done.
Has anybody had such an experience ?
It is really frustrating
