Rangoli competition will be held at IIK Diwali Mela 2019 on October 18th, 2019. Venue is Al Zumerida Hall, Opp Salwa, Kuwait.

It will start sharp 8:00 am . Team may consist of 2-5 members.

Mithai Competition

Mithai Contest will be held at IIK Diwali Mela 2019 on October 18th, 2019. Venue is Al Zumerida Hall, Opp Salwa, Kuwait.

Diwali Sweet should be Dry Indian Sweets, generally consumed during Diwali.The participants have to be present with the Mithai at 7:30 am. The Competition will start at 8.00 am sharp. The Mithai and presentation should be ready by 8:30 am for judgement.

Participant can register only in any one competition either Mithai or Namkeen

Participants will be provided with 400gms of Ghee from the Sponsor KDD for preparing the Mithai.

Confirmed Participants will be called to come and collect the Ghee from Gurukul,Salmiya

Prizes are sponsored by KDD

Last date of registration will be 10th October 2019 or as soon as we receive 15 confirmed Participants

Namkeen Competition

Namkeen Contest will be held at IIK Diwali Mela 2019 on October 18th, 2019. Venue is Al Zumerida Hall, Opp Salwa, Kuwait.

The Diwali Namkeen should be Dry Indian Namkeens, generally consumed during Diwali. Examples Chakli, Sev, Chivda, Kachori, Mathri etc.

The participants have to be present with the Namkeen at 7:30 am. The Competition will start at 8.00 am sharp. The Namkeen and presentation should be ready by 8:30 am for judgement.

Participant can register only in any one competition either Mithai or Namkeen

Participants will be provided with 400gms of Ghee from the Sponsor KDD for preparing the Namkeen.

Dandiya Dance Competition

Dandiya Dance Competition will be held at IIK Diwali Mela 2019 on October 18th, 2019. Venue is Al Zumerida Hall, Opp Salwa, Kuwait. Two participants required in a team. Participant should be 15 years or above. Dandiya sticks will be provided to all participants.

InterSchool Diwali Lantern Competition

Contest is open to all the School students and there is no category (age group wise).

Students can form groups or also take help of parents in this project.

Competition is through schools only

Prizes will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners from all the entries of the various schools, which will be distributed at the IIK Diwali Mela 2019

The Lantern exhibits will be displayed at the event, with the student and School names

Last Date for Submission is 6th October 2019
