Let one of your friend try your SIM on their phone and make sure whether the SIM has any issues. If the problem is related to SIM, you can point this to ooredoo and they will replace your SIM free of charge. (Only if they convinced the problem is with the SIM after testing with their phone).
Once you activate a package, you may not get any refund for that month. If you really don't want data package, make sure you cancel the subscription. Otherwise, they will deduct the money the moment you have 3 KD)
It is frustrating to handle with customer care agents. Their lives even more miserable than ours, handling so many characters like us daily.

@ DL The gentleman at the Ooredoo outlet tried the SIM in his own phone and said the SIM needs to be changed and they won't do it free of charge. therefore I told him to raise a ticket of complaint. After few hours of the complaint Ooredoo closed my case as it is.....without even talking to me.

Ooredoo always closes tockets without talking to you, the best option is to call the call center 121 and get tkt number and follow up. The branch people are usally arabic and do not give proper information in the complaint , because of which thy close.

Similar thing happened to my bro, he was on leave and came backup and he settled his bill for 43KD But later I informed him that he already paid the bills before going on vacation, then how come they charge again. So I called the call center, and found that some movie service was unabled, for 3 months of 15/KD monthly, which is didnt activate. Andthis services needs to be enabled from website, which he never uses.
So They are all robbers.

now ooredoo has become useless network no coverage 4G never works only one point very slow no response from customer care when called 121 they are telling its network problem you have to go to head office which is in murgaf you have to make a complaint what a useless customer care they are not trying to solve the problem I have check with different devices with ooredoo has become useless

Boycott Ooredoo they always cheat customers. Even if we dont enable any music or games they Enable in their system and they deduct the money from customers. they know the nationality of the customers and as per nationality they do this kind of fraud.
