Procedure for Obtaining Engineering License on Engineering Visa

Hi,
For those arriving in Kuwait on an engineer''s visa and seeking to obtain an engineering license, please find below a step-by-step guide to assist you through the process:
1. Document Attestation in India (Before Arrival)
Engineering Degree & All Semester Marksheets (8 total): Ensure these are attested for Kuwait.
Diploma Holders: Attestation of diploma certificate and grade sheets.
10th & 12th Results: No attestation needed.
2. Upon Arrival in Kuwait
Translation: Translate engineering degree, all mark sheets, and 11th & 12th certificates into Arabic.
Stamps: Obtain MOFA and Ministry of Justice stamps on translated documents(11th & 12th certificates not require).
4. Visit Abo Fatera Manpower Typing Centre with all original documents.
5. Visit at Manpower Office Abo Fatera :
• Head to the typing center and collect all documents.
• Visit the Public Authority of Manpower (PAM) office (Next building) .
• Inform the security personnel that you''re applying for your engineering license for the first time.
• The security will direct you to the appropriate area.
• Near the lift area, you''ll find another security personnel, Inform them that you''re applying for your engineering license for the first time.
6. Approval & Recognition
Follow-Up: Return in 7-8 working days to check status.
7. Engineering Recognition letter from company
Request to your company to provide you Engineering Recognition letter from Public Authority Manpower (PAM) website .
8. Appointment through SAHEL app
9. Appointment Day:
On Scheduled Appointment day Visit PAM Abo Fatera office with mandoop(Representative). Show appointment QR code to security take token and wait for your turn.
10. License Validity
Duration: License is valid for 2 years.
Next Step: Apply for equivalency certificate during this period.
