Gulf bank account

I have an account with gulf bank i can deposit cash in it but cant withdraw i went to the branch and they updated kyc but it is not ready even when i do transaction it says debitaccount is marked no debit does anyone know why

It''s an account hold issue. If you are having obligation such as loan or credit card and you have changed your company recently so your ESB processed from previous company that’s why they hold your account. You may see the balance but can’t withdraw it. If this is the case, you''ll need to submit the salary certificate and salary continuous certificate from the new company.
It''s only after they''ve reviewed and are confident that you''ll re-pay the debt they''ll release the hold.
In case this is not the case, I''d suggest you go to Gulf bank''s head office. 8 floor collection department to find out why your account is on hold. That team handles all administrative changes on any account.

Same issue with me. Better open an account in other banks. Now a days, Gulf Bank is not customer friendly.
