Very sad. It''s a pure negligence. Hope the management and managers of all the company sees the people working below and ensure their safety atleast. Everyone who is incharge are answerable to Almighty if necessary justice is not done to the people working below them.

This is very sad incident and shows the pathetic condition of the labour camps where many people are living in such small space and no evacuation plan if such mishap happens. Hope ministry will take strict action so that this type of incident didn''t take place in future. RIP and heartfelt condolences to families who lost their bread earners.

Many of these companies take ISO safety certificates for their companies and sites as it''s a mandatory requirement to get a contract in the oil companies. But they forget about their accommodation. Mass cooking kitchen or restaurants should never be allowed in the residential building or residential areas. All our bakalas store gas cylinders for selling... this should be stopped.
Please look after each other and save humanity. You can''t buy life with the money.

In Murgab and other areas around the city, where the market shop workers live, the situation is more pathetic. I saw that their room had a 3 level metal bunk bed and a mattress under the bunk bed, meaning 35 to 50 people sometimes live in a compromised size 2 bhk flat

95 % of Kuwait Residential buildings are like this. If this fire mishap happened today in Mangaf , tomorrow it can be in any other parts of Kuwait. Unless or untill Kuwait Govt make some strict actions , this fire incidents are going to increase. My deepest condolences for the loss .

Based on what I see most Buildings in Kuwait, have fewer Windows than a Jail. 1. Remove all Groud floor close spaces rented houses etc 2. Have Escape staircase from at least one Window in a House similar to Western Countries 3. Have proper Fire safety alarm and system with maintenance 4. Keep Roof Top door breakable from the inside (similar to Bus Hammer) 5. Kuwait Govt. and companies to invest in proper Labour accommodation (Salaries are already less compared to Western countries, atleast accommodation must be safe) by an Expat who left Kuwait and in a Western Country
