First of all my brother don''t think too much you are not alone in this situation.
Say Alhumdulillha you have some thing you given eduction to your kids it''s a big investment.
Many of people they couldn''t make house in own country but living in kuwait for families daily needs.
If you are healthy it''s also god blessings
Becouse many of people survive badly for medical expenses.
Say Alhumdulillha and turst in God he only can help every one.

Dont think so much brother. Your children are settled, half your job is done. Life in India is not easy but you’ll get used to it. Think of positives like
Monsoon
Greenery
Life among old friends. (I wont say relatives because everyone knows why)
Slow paced life
Better health and simple life. You’ll be happy and 25 lakhs is enough

You don''t have to worry anymore. you educated your children and they are settled. You have your own home. You have a savings of 25 Lakhs. If you are ready to live your remaining life simple, these are more than enough. By depositing 25 Lakhs, you will earn minimum 10K every month as interest. It is more than enough for 2 persons to live a simple life. There wont be more luxury but you will have peace of mind. GOD BLESS YOU

Don’t expect your kids to provide for you in any way and dont part with the rest of the savings you have..it belongs only to you both. With 25 lakhs, you and your wife can live comfortably if you keep it simple. If you entertain friends and relatives regularly then you’ll be bankrupt soon. Stay in good health so that you dont have to spend on meds. Stay on good terms with your children and don’t expect them to cater to your or your wife’s demands. All will be well. Leave all tension and go back to your native land healthy and happy.

a "responsible" child will extend financial help to parents even if they don''t need it... thats the duty of every child towards their parents (although not dependable).
now in your case, you should have done some investments to generate income during old age. A good investment will be buying Flat and renting it out. rent can be increased every 3-4 years to cover the increase in cost of living.

Put your money in a Sarkari bank, you will get assured 15k per month. Reinvest 5 k in MF SIP as hedge against inflation and live on 10k. This should suffice for survival for life in a small city.
You did not mention indemnity; use that money for small business/MF investment.
Explore if you can let out a portion of your house and get some rental income.
If possible get some freelance work like teaching, small shop accounting etc. to keep yourself fit and productive.

You do not want to live with your children or You can not live with them.
If you can live with them that would be your first best option live with your child and spend time with your grandchild/family.
If you can’t or don’t want to live with them, start looking for a job in Kuwait before you resign from your current job. Don’t be under the presumption that you are old and may not find a job. You may not find a fancy job with the title you want but you will be able to find a decent job for your experience.
You have not mentioned if 25 lacs include your indemnity or not. If it includes indemnity and you are ready to live with your children, then deposit that amount as an FD and take monthly interest for your expenses and support your children with whatever you can.
If you want to stay separate and leave Kuwait, you may have to find out how you can generate some more monthly income. You can probably rent out your home and rent a smaller house, not sure about rental incomes in your place. Also, consider the benefits you get from govt, not sure how helpful they can be but be of some help at least covering your food expenses to some extent.
Be positive, have a positive attitude towards life, go for an evening walk whenever you can, and watch sunsets, these help you in relieving stress.

My dear man, whatever you do, dont stay with your children. Life will become a hell for you and your wife. Stay close by and stay happy. Your children will love u always but any kind of control from your end towards their life will ruin your peace. Seen atleast a dozen such cases
