If you are planning for a long run then avoid Chevrolet cars. I personally owned one and after 100K mileage u need to find a friend at local garage to keep changing parts on regular basics. Toyots cars r bit expensive however u will surely have reliability with it n also with Honda brands. Sportage is also good but u will have resale issues at later stage. if that doest bother u then go for it.
Hope this helps

Abhilash''s new car
Toyota Rush is not an equivalent of Kia sportage and Chevrolet Captiva. Equivalent of Rush would be Trax in power but then rush is made to be lengthy...Trax looks too compact... Rush has the best ground clearance which would help during the Rainy waterlogged residential area that happens frequently in kwt now than ever. But then bear in mind Toyota Rush is indeed a new Daihatsu Terios.
It is ok if you are city rider not much into acceleration and loads (family of 2 + max 2 children) or enthusiastic driving and thats why it is the cheapest of all. But it wouldn''t have all the bells and whistle that you would expect in an entry level SUV. It is just a average family MPV labeled as a SUV. Same as Suzuki Baleno rebadged as Toyota Glanza in India...
Chevrolet Capitva is a better safe option among all that you have listed... (personally old capitva looked sturdy and inline with RAVs, CRV, X-trail or X-terra), the new one is modeled on Trax format and looks very infirm boxy tentative design before Chevrolet unveil a new rugged exterior design in coming years). Kia will provide u with a lot of technology and style... but if you getting RAV 4 or CRV its also a best tried option with RAV 4 being best...as a reliable vehicle...(Sure Toyotas and Hondas are overpriced but than they are reliable for that very reasons.)...

Between the 3, Kia Sportage is better. And if Captiva is the latest model, it looks better also. Are they in the same price range? Toyota is very overpriced, it''s better to have the top sellers from Toyota (Prado/Fortuner), so you don''t lose on resale.

Go for Toyota. Best quality, high resale value and demand, low maintainance cost. Buy new or good used car. If you check Best selling cars in USA or Europe 3 or 4 Toyota brands will be always there every year. It is a Japanese brand. Categorising as Asian brand is not good, there many world class product countries in Asia. korea, Taiwan, India etc. Be Indian, Be Asian and be proud.

I will advise you one thing.
If you are very confident of saving your job and maintaining it for next 6 to 7 years then only got for brand new car.
If your confidence level is les then buy used car. In this tough time, you will get used car very cheap.
If you are not sure of your job then don''t buy car.

@Abhilash. Toyota Rush is a family car.(But it speed level is 110 or 120Km and not above that. it takes time to move . Example during the red signal even if you give accelerator it wont pick up speed and will take time to move.
Kia no resale value and this car is also Slow as per many of my friends opinion. (Not much resale Value)
Chevy is expensive but parts are also expensive. once any find any fault then you will always have to keep changing the parts and take it to garage. chevy is American Brand hence the spare parts are expensive.
Now you got all the 3 points so decide which one you prefer.

-Say NO to Toyota Rush -Say BIG NO to KIA -Say BIG YES to Chevrolet , GMC From above options i see you are looking for small cross over -HONDA CRV New - 6000 KWD is a good choice -Toyota Rav-4 is also good choice. -I would choose Asian car for new one. -I would choose American car for used.(Cheap and low maintenance for spares)

from the cars u listed ..go for captiva....rush is too small for kuwait, sportage is 5 seater. captiva is a so called 7 seater... the 3rd row is best left for kids and short distances..buy price wise very competitive. not many people know or realize it.. the new captiva is nothing but the MG hector(india) rebadged as a Chevrolet product

Hi, Among these, Captiva is best. Less money for more comfort and conveniences.
