better he told you to stamp was not clear. As per my experience from muroor they told me translation validity is for 2 or 3 years only and instruct me to do new translation from 2020 stamp.
Procedure:
get translated your degree certificate from any typing centre. then go to the ministry of justice (near to liberation tower) with translation and degree certificate original get stamped from there first then go to MOFA they will again stamp. then you can submit to Muroor.

For translation, only MOFA stamp is enough. I did mine without MOJ or any indian stamps. All these stamps you need only on your original certificates. Just to be extra cautious, people are keeping all kind of stamps under the sun which are not required.
For translation, just do MOFA and that will be enough.

Hello all, Just to update,
I went to the translator today and explained the matter. He took a new photocopy of the same degree and stamped the photocopy. I took it back to the muroor and he accepted it by god''s grace.
